Picnic Styled Shoot Part One / North Carolina Wedding Planner

I'm pleased to get to share every little bit of our Picnic Inspiration Shoot with y'all today. You might've seen it featured here. It was such a thrill and an honor to be featured on one of our favorite wedding blogs.
This shoot was really inspired vintage hankies and tablecloths. Vintage linens are my jam. I love the bright colors and happy patterns that define them and combining that look with farmers market flowers, mismatched furniture, and quilts is the epitome of pretty in my book. Add a naked wedding cake adorned with fruit and well, I hope you love the results as much as we do.

We worked with some pretty fantastic vendors to make this loveliness happen.

Real Wedding / At Home Wedding, Saxapahaw / North Carolina Wedding Planner

Sarah and Nicks wedding was sweet, personal, and lovely. The bride chose be married and celebrate at her parents beautiful log cabin-like home among her closest family and friends. Her dad built a beautiful arbor for the couple to be married under and the reception was set-up inside their inviting home and on the large porch the father of the bride had built for his older daughter's wedding last year.
Wedding days are always full of surprises and this one was so exception. As the bride was getting ready and guests began to arrive, a torrential downpour began. The rain slowed, but refused to let up so the ceremony was moved inside. In some cases this may have ruined the day, but for this couple and in this home, it made the wedding and vows all the more special and beautiful. With their loved ones gathered around them in the coziest most intimate ceremony I have ever witnessed, Nick and Sarah pledged their love, exchanged their rings, and were married.
The ceremony was followed by good food and dancing and the rain let up in time everyone to mingle outside and send Sarah and Nick off on their new journey in style.
